Pros

One of the very few teaching jobs that can offer you stable full time employment.

Cons

The management doesn't care about the teachers at all. All they do is giving them more and more workload and let them do damage control themselves when the students are unhappy. The facilities are too small and full of issues. There are classes with more than 15 people and there aren't even enough chairs, so students have literally nowhere to sit. The teachers are paid unfairly and they are the last to know about major changes in the school. The managment is full of false promises.

Pros

The staff (teachers, secretaries, marketing, etc.) are very nice and a great team to work with.

Cons

This used to be a great school and I enjoyed working here for almost nine years. It has now changed owners (November '24) and the new owner does not care about their staff nor the students. His first introduction to the staff was an email saying he was going to cut everyone's wages. When that backfired, he introduced himself in person, saying "we're a family". My family treats me with respect. He's trying to get rid of everyone he deems "overpaid" and is introducing new wages, which was the minimum wage we had back in 2016, not accounting for inflation and cost of living. Currently, he is making people redundant while having an ad up for new teachers. He doesn't care if things are illegal as long as he makes money. The atmosphere used to be great, now there's just tension. The teachers were great, hard-working and committed. People stayed for years or came back. Students enjoyed the classes and would often renew multiple times and recommend our school to others. He has now changed class times so he doesn't have to pay for the lunch breaks. This affects students' schedules and they're not happy. He has also changed the way attendance is counted, in the hope he can expel students as soon as possible, keep their money and get new students in. Overall, it's such a waste of what used to be a great school and I do not recommend working here if you want to be paid fairly, or be treated as a human being.
