Where to start?! The company could not care less about its staff. The large majority of the staff are based overseas and are such incredible people and are the absolute backbone of the company. They are treated as expendable assets to be used and thrown away. A group of us had to strong arm management to implement a maternity policy for overseas staff. And that attitude went towards UK based staff too - questioning compassionate leave, unwilling to accept mental health issues as reasons to be off work. The company policy is NOT to trust staff until the "trust battery" was charged...which never happens. Which is demonstrated in the Orwellian use of intrusive time tracking software that screenshots screens and in some cases records screens. The entire company felt on edge and that has proven to be true in that in a 3 month period 50+% of the UK staff have left...all for moral reasons. The work is fine, the jobs are great, unfortunately they are for a company that has zero interest in the people that make the coffers full. And there is no indication that this is going to change any time soon.
