Leadership really cares about quarterly surveys to get approval from employees. However they stress/encourage teams to give good approval ratings instead of voicing concerns. When concerns are identified, the internal culture teams throw empty initiatives at the wall but don't implement them in meaningful ways.
Lack of direction from product. It takes so long for them to decide what is a priority to work on and refine it to a point where work can begin. Then they act like everything is imminently due, but hesitate to launch new features or bug fixes.
I cannot anticipate the talented developers sticking around for long between fear of layoffs and a migration towards half-baked 3rd party solutions.
