Pros
There is nothing positive to say about working here.
Cons
Accordo senior management has paid for the positive reviews here. All staff are dissatisfied. Staff turnover is high. There are no career opportunities and most staff leave within one year. Six months is considered a long time at Accordo. Pay is not competitive, and is actually not enough to live off in the part of Auckland where they set themselves up. On their web site, they are full of themselves in all they claim to be. They are not a growing company. They perform contracts for Microsoft. They have tried to get more clients but no one else would tolerate their poor quality work. Their software sucks. Accordo violates basic software engineering principles. Almost all of their staff are graduates with no work experience, and they receive little to no mentoring when tasked with analyst and consulting roles. Their business model is very suspicious. They make their money by screwing people around. They have business processes that inflates their "influenced revenue" metric. This is the metric they use to brag about how much money they are making for Microsoft. They have a new CEO and new management; new faces, same puppet strings.
