Pros
My time in Achiever's Arts was an absolutely fruitful educational journey that taught me how to grow as an aspiring artist and educator. I initially started as an intern but came back upon graduation. I was fortunate to spend my time there with very kind and humble educators that shared the same interests and love for kids as much as I do. I got to participate in creating visual aids for students which was enjoyable as it allowed me to express my creativity and enhance my skills. For someone who likes working with people, co-teaching with a partner allowed me to gain perspective from another educator and also learn new ways to improve on my teaching style.
Cons
In Achiever's Arts, we simultaneously handle multiple age groups and programmes in one classroom and although for most parts it is manageable, there are days where there are more students than 1 or 2 teachers could handle and this makes multi-tasking a little more challenging. There are times in these cases where I could not give my utmost attention so this does come with a little bit of guilt. It does not happen quite often though, so I don’t have much complaints about my experience at all.
