Cons
No work/life balance. Managers were absolutely awful. You were part of a whatsapp group, but seem to be expected to be on call 24/7, because the Director was on call 24/7. On boarding and support was literally non-existent. The attitude of management was treat the staff tough to get work done quicker, there was no thought into getting work done properly. Dragged their feet on a lot of campaigns. Diversity is non-existent, 90% of staff were Caucasian and from the eastern bloc. The department was so toxic, that I ended up stressed and losing a lot of weight. One member of staff actually went on stress leave because of how awful the environment and management was. When I handed in my notice, I was emotionally blackmailed into staying by the Director, saying how this is such a great opportunity and I would regret the decision to leave. I have no regrets and I am glad to have left this toxic department. I now work for a better company, with a fantastic team and better prospects.
