Pros

Small companies produce family like ties with co-workers, leading to a GREAT workplace.

Cons

Small companies are always working on a tight budget to stay competitive with the BIG BOYS. Due to Very poor corporate decisions to trim local management, MAJOR brain drain resulted. There were 3 major layoffs, which totally decimated the design, test and engineering teams. The company is still trying to recover, but their industry reputation is badly tarnished.

Pros

Great people culture, very good benefit, if you do your good work, then you will have a lot of fun there. if not, then you're out, like it or not. I loved John Leary, he has retired 2017, and seems like Glassdoor has not been updated yet.

Cons

work load can be heavy for most of the time, and overtime is mandatory or better said, it is expected of you.

Pros

Above market rate salary. Easy interview process

Cons

Constant management churn. But don't just take my word for it. 4 presidents within 2 years (fired + fired + acting + current) 2 engineering VPs within 2 years (fired + current) 2 sales & marketing VPs within 2 years (fired + current) 2 finance VPs within 2 years (quit + current) 3 electromechanical business unit managers within 2 years (quit + acting + current) 3 fluids business unit managers within 2 years (fired + quit + acting)
