Pros
You get a lot of support, check ins, continued training, overlaps with staff to make sure you have the clinical knowledge necessary for direct sessions. The company encourages you to always take breaks, to take days off when you need them, are always considerate of your personal life schedule, and want you to unplug whenever you can because they all know how stressful the job can be. I've never felt pressured to work extra, I've only been encouraged to do my best, and when I need to, take a break. For me personally, because of the supportive staff and good work life balance, I am able to really do my very best as an RBT and actually enjoy the work that I do.
Cons
There might be limited cases in your area which leads to less hours overall. For my situation specifically, this was not a problem, but if you wanted a fuller schedule, check to make sure that you will be able to secure 30-40 hours in your geographic area that you are willing to travel to.
