Cons
My experience at this company was worse than any modern form of slavery. When compared to the lowest level of modern slavery, such as garment factories in Bangladesh, this company is even worse. At least garment workers get overtime pay, but here, that doesn't exist. Employees are expected to work an average of 10-12 hours per day, often extending to 15 hours and pay only 10k-12k bdt (85-100 usd) per month for a 5-6 days workweek. As a night shift worker, I once had to work until 1 PM the next day to finish tasks, leaving me only 9 hours to travel back to my house, take shower, have lunch, sleep, then waking up, have dinner and then travel back to the office for the next shift at 10pm. The management did not consider giving me a day off or even allowing me to come in late for the next shift. The owner is the most unethical and inhuman person I have ever encountered. After working at a market research firm in the USA, he came up with this business idea to outsource data analysis and presentation work for major market research firms to his home country. He knew he could exploit the constant influx of fresh graduates who struggle to find employment each year. By taking advantage of their desperation, he manages to get the work done at a very low cost, furthering his profit while disregarding fair labor practices and employee well-being. They falsely advertise on their Facebook page, portraying themselves as a friendly employer. However, this is just a way to tricking their foreign clients and future applicants into thinking employees are happy here. If you look closely, you’ll notice that most employees are always new hires, and only a few top management faces appear repeatedly. These managers know they can't secure jobs elsewhere and are good at flattering the owner. They even ask interview candidates to write positive reviews to artificially boost their image on FB page. If you go through their FB reviews, most of them were given by the interview candidates where HR asks the candiates to write a good review about the interview process and the office decorations. I also believe most of the positive reviews on Glassdoor are either fake or forced because the management knows not a single employee would write a genuine good review about them. Working at this company was the worst nightmare of my life. I believe people in jail enjoy their time more than I did during my time here. I hope their clients see this review and start taking their business elsewhere so that this company can't continue its unethical practices any longer.
