Pros

Most of the positive reviews are from the HQ location in London. Adthena certainly has a great platform, the technology is quite solid and you can tell the company’s resources are focused on continuously improving it.

Cons

If you're interviewing here, ask about the employee turnover and how close the current reps are to their attainment. Rebuttal from executive team may be: "It's a start up, not everyone can grind it out... Ok, fair point but read on." Sales Support: During the time I was there, we had multiple Sales Dev reps. They all got fired/quit. The longest one lasted 3 months. Corners are constantly cut in supporting the AE's. Only positive is that lead generation was somewhat improving by the time I left. Salary: Be prepared to get paid as a Junior or SMB AE, with a low base. The platform is very expensive, you will be conducting Enterprise Level sales. Meaning—long sales cycles, large deal sizes and navigating through Enterprise Accounts. If you have experience working in any major tech markets, you'll be disappointed in the OTE. Shares are nice, but so is getting paid what you're worth. Commission Structure: Sales reps only get paid once customer pays in full. Combine that with 4-6 month sales cycles, you'll be waiting several months before getting paid. That could be sustainable but combine that with the extremely low pay and you'll quickly realize it's very difficult to make money here. Leadership: Has good company values on paper, but questionable execution. Strategy is more of "wheeling and dealing" rather than strategies on how to increase pipeline.

Pros

There’s no micromanagement here — leadership truly trusts you to do your job and gives you ownership over your clients and workflow. Work-life balance is a real priority, which was a huge change (in the best way) coming from agency life. The difference is honestly night and day. There are solid incentives and renewal bonuses that make hard work feel recognized, and the benefits are great. The onboarding process is supportive and engaging, and the team is genuinely helpful and willing to knowledge share. You also get plenty of opportunities to grow your skills through client work or side projects. It’s remote-first and flexible, with in-person opportunities for team events or if your local to one of the offices. Overall, it’s a really positive, motivating place to work.

Pros

Great leadership, hands off management approach, solid lead flow, product is solid and provides great value when it is a good fit. Culture of winning, everyone wants to and expects to hit target. True hybrid approach with remote first, being in the office 2 days a week is expected but there is flexibility. Nice break for Christmas. Overall this is a place where I am enabled by leadership to grow in my career.

Cons

Benefits aren't great. 401k match is coming later this year but it is not significant, and has been nonexistent to this point. Health insurance is a weak point. Don't get some US holidays off that you would get at other companies (MLK, Juneteenth). Never heard of them doing a sales spiff, which is odd. A bit of fear internally about if the tech will keep with with the major shift presented by the rise of AI, though it does seem the engineering team is on it.
