Pros
The short stay unit staff are wonderful and very helpful so are the oncology and HNVU staff they are supportive and work well as a team.
Cons
all the other units you will float to as a CA ( except ICU and CCU because CAs don't go there)are horrible they have no order they want help out they allow call light to ring out until the cna is free to answer it no matter how long that might takes even if its a hour. they will continue to add things to your to do list and not do anything to help you or the patients even if they are right in the room. The manager over float pool is bias and passive aggressive, she has favorites and if you are not, one then doesn't take advice from anyone about what's allowed because people she likes and doesn't like to have different privileges.
