Pros
Employees are treated well for the most part. Good benefits, average salaries, and - if you make it there long enough - excellent PTO accrual.
Cons
In my opinion, the amount of middle management bloat is mind boggling - we’re talking three to four layers of red tape before you get to anyone who is actually willing to make a decision. There is very little that teams of employees can do to get bad managers out of the system. Change management is non-existent. Over the last six years, corporate leadership consolidated and/or outsourced most of the following departments: Facilities, HR, Finance, Biomed/HTM, IT, and Accounting. Corporate and site specific leadership turnover (and provider turnover for that matter) is high. Wage inequality, in my opinion, is alive and well in this company.
