Pros
Great co-workers, upgraded technology (finally).
Cons
Nepotism is the name of the game in Adventist Health. They'll promote you to leadership without any qualifications or experience. The CIO came from a finance background for example. If you're a member of the church, you can expect to be raised to management shortly, stepping on the backs of employees who have worked faithfully for the corporation for years. Once you're in the upper echelon you can do no wrong. When you fail they'll just put you in charge of something else. Rinse repeat. Wages are terrible, and the raises you get are an insult. Thank you for putting in 50-60 hours a week for a year, here's your 2% raise! Spiritual rewards don't pay my rent! Your job description will include nothing you'll actually work on, and the training they provide is pitiful.
