Company no longer trading - Director Aegate Employee Review

Working at Aegate has been an interesting experience. The people here are great and have great passion in what they are trying to achieve. Although there have been some recent changes in personnel, which were probably due to financial difficulties, I believe the company has a bright future once contracts are won. It's encouraging to see the CEO and other senior managers of Aegate working hard to ensure the company survives in the competitive field that they are trying to break into, which helps to boost the optimism of the staff. Working here is also a great place to maintain a good work/life balance, with the ability to work from home if necessary. The office environment is also quite casual, with no requirement to wear a suit and tie everyday, comfortable clothing is allowed!

The benefit offering could be better. More opportunities for career progression would be welcomed, though once the company does grow then I'm in no doubt that this will inevitably be a consequence of that growth.

Company has a really good potential but they are to full of themselves

No training is provided for new starters, no personal objectives are set-up, no performance review is being done. They employ people with no real plan for them and get rid of them in the same manner without a real reason in hand. No ethics, top management does not actually care about their employees. Workspace is too squeezed. Overall, very disorganised but with very high expectations.
