Pros
Gain good flight experience at an entry level pilot job, travel, gain networking opportunities outside the company, and learn when to say "no" to flying an unsafe aircraft, flying too many hours, etc.
Cons
Current management is awful! ASI has been on a "polo horse* business model for a while. Running employees into the ground until they leave, then finding fresh blood to start the process over. Expect to stay about a year, as nearly all employees have.
Unsafe aircraft, plus lousy maintenance and overall attitude towards fixing problems within the company. Many false promises, regarding pay, schedule (which is non-existent, expect to work 7 days a week) and a "good ol boy" management team.
