Pros
Opportunities to help people find good employment, Aerotek has good company principles, they just don't follow them unless its convenient.
Cons
1. They sell you on the opportunity for big commission, what they don't tell you is you only get paid out on commission once you reach 8k a week. Only two recruiters in the Salt Lake office consistently get paid commission and they have been there 10-15 years. 2. They tell you that 48 hrs. a week is what's expected, really its 60, and that's if you don't work Saturdays. 3. The senior recruiter responsible for training is also the recruiter you'll be competing against for contractors. A big conflict of interest if you ask me. 4. Turnover is incredibly high, 7 people either resigned or were fired in a 3 month period and there is only about 30 people in the office. People resist building relationships due to the instability in the office because someone may leave at any moment.
