Pros

Better be money motivated or you won't get hired. Then realize that you're making like $10/hour because you put in 50+/week and you'll wonder why you hoped to get hired. Started paying people a bonus for how many years of service they've been with the company while their best and brightest left for better opportunities. Great place to work a year if you can make it that long to build some business acumen, otherwise don't believe the lies they feed you during the interview process....none of it is true.

Cons

Those in power have never managed anyone before so they don't understand how to build a team, motivate others or help you build your career. Party or leave, after working your 10-11 hour day, you better go out for happy hour or you'll be shunned and thought of as not a teammate. Better not try and make friends, because you'll be looked at as a "clique" and detrimental to the team. Keep your significant others away as much as they try to suck them in and brainwash them, they'll hate the company from day 1. The company values are completely backwards. Party and drink like we're in college then get angry at those who make poor decisions...double standards galore. Do yourself a favor and run in the complete opposite direction from Aerotek. There are a lot more quality companies in Omaha, don't waste your time with one that is predicated on lies and greed.

Pros

Great people, great training, great entry level opportunity to get into recruiting and sales. If you are successful you will make more here than about anywhere else. Performing Recruiters are making $55k-$75k. Great Recruiters are making $100k+. Every large office has salespeople making $200k-$400k. Culture is 100% committed and generally cool type-A's you would want to have a beer with. The skills, drive, and sense of urgency you learn at Aerotek serve you well anywhere you may go later.

Cons

If you are just looking for a low-commitment 8-5 job while posting on social media about where you are partying that night...you will not like Aerotek. Success requires an all in approach both in work ethic and active support of the culture. That is not for everyone. There are Political Science grads 3 years out of college making $200k+, but there is a price to be paid. All the tough work comes first. If you are not up for the level of work and commitment, Aerotek is not for you. If you are, none of this is really a "con" As far a real cons go, the benefits are only OK, and finding work/life balance is pretty difficult.
