GREAT company to work for! - Business Development Manager AffiliateManager.com Employee Review

Not many companies will take a recent college grad with little experience in the marketing field and give them a full time position but Affiliate Manager did just that for me! I'm incredibly appreciative of that and think it's great that they're so willing to take a chance on new people and train them in this field. Everyone that works here is incredibly nice and willing to help out in whatever way they can and are always available to answer any questions you might have. There's been quite a few times where we've gone out as a group to hang out and grab a drink after work because we all genuinely enjoy working with one another. I've never worked somewhere that respects their employees so much! Working from home 2 days out of the week is AWESOME and the few days we get off around the holidays is very nice, too! We have a benefits package now and while it's smaller, it's still nice to have.

We have to walk from our office to a parking garage which is about a 1/2 mile from the office, which wouldn't be bad except the way to get to the garage is in a not so great part of town and there's been a few times where I've felt unsafe while walking to/from work. I park in a closer garage sometimes but it's 15 dollars a day and that gets pretty expensive. It's not incredibly organized. I think it's something that management is working on but for now, it's a little difficult when I have a question from an affiliate that the client needs to answer and I have to continuously ask my SAM if they've checked on it or if the question has been answered. It can sometimes lead to me looking unprofessional to my affiliates because it takes awhile to answer their questions.

It's a great place to work! We get to work from home two days out of the week. It has a great group of people working there. Coworkers you actually want to grab a beer with after work. People love their jobs and it shows. They're willing to help each other to achieve a company wide goal of bringing success to AffiliateManager.com and their clients. It's a laid back office, with a casual dress code. It's an open door policy straight to the CEO. There isn't any bureaucratic red tape to go through. Have an idea? Just send him an email or even just an IM! The office is in the heart of downtown Orlando, which makes lunch expensive but much more fun. There are often company sponsored activities, which increases morale amongst the group. My favorite part is being able to travel to conferences in cities like New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, etc!

Although it's good exercise for me, the parking garage is a 10 minute walk from the office. Personally I don't like that we have to use our personal laptops for work.
