Pros

Ok, last August I gave this company high scores. I thought I would provide an update. Well the only thing that I would adjust on my previous excellent review would be to say things have even gotten better. I am currently an employee for the past 1.5 years and I work in the Monitoring Department. I must admit, part of my motivation in writing another review is because it angers me off to see some of my former co-workers retaliate for losing the job by posting negative posts when the reality is, THEY lost their job because of THEIR own doing. What is management suppose to do, keep below average employees ? Really ? I don't want to work with average employees cause that means I would have to do more to make up for their slack. Those who left the company likely did so because they are unable to make it to work on time or they have poor overall attendance. Let me tell you what Affiliate Monitoring is. We handle emergencies as they occur and dispatch local police/EMS to respond to that emergency. THIS IS IMPORTANT WORK, don't you thing ? When seconds matter, it is critical to have employees with good attendance. If you do not agree, you are a a fool. Their attendance policy changes occasionally over time. They sometimes tweek it to find the maximum balance between being fair and understanding to the employee situations that can effect attendance while also making sure they staff properly etc.. Their policy is simple. If you are late, that equals 1/2 point. If you are absent, that equals 1 point. When you reach 5 points, they warn you. When you reach 7 points, your gone most of the time. This is a generous policy not to mention that if you go 30 days with perfect attendance they remove 1 point from your tally. If you are absent like 2-3 days in a row, they usually just give you one point total if you have a doctors note. They understand that colds and the Flu come in multiple day absences. If you have perfect attendance for 6 months, you get $250 cash, do it twice in a row, you get $350 more. So, anyone who tells you that the attendance policy is not fair once again are fools. It's not the attendance policy, its your failure to have reliable transportation or problems at home that effect your attendance. As for management, they take their job serious but they are very fair and they do care. We just had an all employee barbecue. They are constantly recognizing good employees with rewards too. They even shuttle employees to local transportation hubs for free knowing that public transportation has limitations which can make getting to work difficult at time. I have advise to those who apply. If you don't have reliable transportation, THINK TWICE ABOUT WORKING HERE. If you have many outside problems, think a third time. If you just want to lax and do little or the minimum, think a fourth time. All in all, this is a great place to work compared to other jobs and the pay is well above average for the area etc.. I will be posting this on other websites so don't be surprised to see it.

Cons

I really do not have anything negative to say.

Pros

Working at Affiliated Monitoring has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my career. The culture here is built on genuine teamwork—people don’t just say they collaborate, they show up for each other every single day. Whether you’re new or have been with the company for years, you’re treated like a valued part of the team from the start. What really stands out is the strong sense of accountability across the organization. Everyone takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and follows through. It creates an environment where you trust the people around you and feel motivated to operate at your highest level. Leaders model what accountability looks like, and teammates support each other in delivering excellent results. If you’re looking for a company where you can grow, feel supported, and be part of a team that truly cares about doing things the right way, Affiliated Monitoring is the place. It’s rare to find an organization with this level of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Cons

I have no cons to report.

Pros

Office space is fine. Training met baseline expectations for onboarding.

Cons

Upper management enforces an extremely high level of micromanagement. Daily activity is tracked in detail, including time spent away from the desk, with minimal autonomy in how work is structured or completed. The environment is highly monitored, leaving little flexibility in day-to-day workflow. Your bathroom breaks are tracked, you are pretty much chained to your desk.
