Pros

Creat your own schedule. Work from home. Over all you have job freedom, you work at home so you have the freedom of an office setting and freedom from an 8-5 schedule.

Cons

Managment is very disorganized and has a huge disconnect from field inspectors. my first job assignments were all 2 hour drive away from my home which required me to pay about 100.00 in fuel costs one way. I only got payed 6.00 for my total fuel reenbursment from Us-reports. You have to wait 3 weeks for intial pay check from Us-Reports. There is no paid training what so ever, untill you get to your ride along and then it is only 100.00 for 2-3 days worth of work. you are responsible for paying for all your own office supplies. earlier this week i asked for jobs closer to where i live so i can keep working and still be making money, and the managment pulled all of my jobs that were 2 hours away from me and just gave me 2-3 jobs. with in a 70 mile distance from me. for a 4 hour round trip todo approximatly 5 jobs i only got paid a total of 205.00 this does include the fuel re-enbursment of 6.00. All of the upper managment in Us-Reports is related in one way or another, which is allowing for certain parts of managment to slack in certain areas of the company. If you have issue with one of the regional managers, there is no one to complain to about issues. If you complain directly to the manager very little if anything is done to correct issues at hand.

Thank you for your review. Here at US-Reports one of our biggest priorities is providing the best service to our customers. One of the ways we help achieve this goal is by providing our clients with the most equipped employees. A challenge we face regarding this issue is having people work for US-Reports as Independent Contractors and not Employees. Per Government regulations, Independent Contractors are responsible for their own training, benefits, reimbursements, etc. We provide resources for these hurdles, but leave the rest of the mandated responsibilities to the Independent Contractors. One of our initiatives for the next few years is hiring on more full-time employees to help overcome these issues.
