Smart, talented people sparsely scattered throughout different departments.
Cons
They set unattainable goals so they can hold you back. When raises, or job movement becomes available they bring up the fact that you missed your goal target from those previously mentioned unattainable goals. So you dispute that and present them with facts, numbers and proper comparisons with all your other team members, for example, you are 300% more effective at your job than the average team numbers. They tell you that it doesn't matter, because the bell curve doesn't allow you to stand out in any way.
