Pros
I knew starting with AgroFresh would be a risk, since it was recent divestiture from Dow. It was the best decision I have ever made. The people at AgroFresh are wonderful, helpful, caring and fun to work with. There have been many opportunities to get involved with projects I normally would not have had the chance to. I have learned so much in my few short years here. It is a lot of work but the work has been rewarding. AgroFresh promotes employees and gives them the opportunity to grow. Work life balance is great, I can change my hours as needed, work from home on occasion, and summer hours:) It is disheartening to see some of the negative reviews, because that has not been my experience at all. There have been a few bad hires, but that comes with any business. I am thrilled I took the chance to work here, if you get the opportunity to join us, do it!
Cons
AgroFresh at times can be rather ambiguous, and that does not always jive with people. However, breaking away from a large organization and having to create your own mark comes with a lot of change. If you are willing do the work, AgroFresh is very rewarding.
