Pros
Office workers can leave whenever they want and take 1 -2 hour lunches, facebook all day, and do no work for the company. You do get to write your own bonus goals and if your supervisor approves, you can write really easy ones to get a ~$2,000 bonus in March/April. Vacation is rarely tracked and if you "get 2 weeks" you can actually take 4 weeks and nobody will say anything.
Cons
Extreme favoritism for certain individuals. Not the same standards for everyone. Some people are paid in their pay band while others are paid way below. No rationale on this. Raises are the same 1 - 2 % each year IF there is a raise, and not based on merit or level of work performed. 1 - 2 honest white collar employees that carry everyone else. Custom computer programs don't work. No training on how to use them. HR is a joke, never on site or has door closed.
