Pros

the company had an excellent r &d team when i was there. they still have one or two good developers and scientists, but i wonder how long they can retain them

Cons

awful management, very incompetent. very short sighted, no one in the maangement understands anything about the underlying technology that the company can offer and make statements that make no sense. they do not even know the good and bad of the product the company is selling. sales department says something, advertisement says something else, then amangement comes to development and asks something that they have no idea what they are talking about. huge losses and a failed buy-out led to mass lay offs in 2015

Pros

- Have a large say in what your job role does and how it grows - Ideas come from any level in the company and can be implemented/scaled - Be a part of something that is building/growing and make your mark - No "large corporation" micromanagement feel, very autonomous and creative environment - Employees are incredibly talented people who are driven, innovative, and forward-thinking - Be a contributing member to the future of business and big data - Great benefits and good compensation, very hard work = big reward oriented

Cons

- It is a start-up so there will be the usual growing pains (nonstandard hours *sometimes*) - Very interdependent across teams (operate much like a varsity sports team, everyone needs to do their job to score a touchdown - There is a big learning curve initially when starting, learning about the technology and products can be a large feat, for some
