Pros
Airtime's people are smart, idealistic, diverse pros trying to realize a compelling vision of how a social network can reinforce and build on real social connections. Airtime is a very flexible and laid-back work environment. No-one cares where you work or what hours you keep as long as you get stuff done. Some of our people work remotely and we have offices in New York, San Francisco, and Palo Alto (and we're encouraged to visit and work from other offices).
Cons
Because we're struggling to build our network and find our audience, and lots of smart people have lots of good ideas about how to do it, we can sometimes feel like we're moving sideways or backwards as we try to get our platform in front of the right people. Like a lot of Silicon Valley companies our gender balance could be better! (We could use more women, especially in engineering.) The insanely awesome coffee machine in the SF office doesn't seem to be able to steam milk.
