Pros

Some of the people are very nice and will do their very best to help support you.

Cons

The bonus has officially not been paid in three years now as of January 2026. It’s important to point this out, as the bonus is still being used to lure people in at graduate fairs and for senior roles. We’ve heard next to nothing about it in the last 18 months it’s as if leadership think that by saying nothing at the All Hands or Town Halls, the staff will just forget about it. Unfortunately for them that isn't the case. Disgruntlement is growing among the staff who have to look at the senior leadership team flaunting their wealth with new cars we’ve even had the former CEO inviting people out to the car park to see his latest purchase while the ordinary staff are treated with nothing but contempt. Quite frankly, something needs to change. NTT DATA needs to clear house among the quite bloated leadership and start trying to win back the employees, because if they don’t a massive exodus of staff is just around the corner. Alchemy is a circus and it's run by the clowns

Pros

Exposure to the Guidewire platform and attainment of multiple certifications. Some colleagues were professional and willing to share knowledge. Initial training provides a baseline understanding of the system.

Cons

HR: Operates more like an enforcement body than employee support. The constant monitoring, rigid policies, and lack of empathy created an atmosphere of pressure rather than development. Concerns raised were often dismissed rather than resolved, leaving staff feeling undervalued. Higher Management: A small circle of senior staff hold most of the influence. Decisions are often opaque, with favoritism playing a noticeable role in opportunities and progression. This clique-like structure makes it difficult for new employees to integrate or advance fairly. Work is narrowly focused on Guidewire configuration, offering very limited genuine coding experience. Continuous and intense pressure to pass certifications, with performance measured almost entirely on this rather than actual skills or contribution. Lack of vision or clear direction for long-term employee development.
