      Pros

      Time off. That is literally all there is to like.

      Cons

      The pay is awful. By awful I mean get ready to be at the poverty line. Do yourself a favor ... go work for your local county or consultants. REPEAT ... IT IS AWFUL. Also once you come here you cannot go work in the private world that does business with the state (Consultants) for 2 YEARS. Yep ... they trap you because all road work basically relies on state funds. You get blocked.

      Pros

      Health insurance is decent for family coverage. Leave Accrual is great Work-Life balance is great

      Cons

      Salaries are unsustainable and outdated. Healthcare Premiums go up every year for less coverage Retirement is outdated and a mandatory contribution, which only makes the poor salaries worse. Lots of individuals in management positions that failed upwards. Lots of poor work ethic which is a direct reflection of the poor salaries offered.
