Good to place to start career but bad management in TAC - Engineer AlgoSec Employee Review

I have been with AlgoSec for more than 10 years, and my positive feedback comes from long-term experience across different roles and stages of the company’s growth. AlgoSec is a company where people are genuinely seen as people, not just employees. The culture is supportive, transparent, and human, with leadership and HR consistently caring about motivation, well-being, career goals, and personal growth. There are real opportunities to grow inside the company, including across teams and departments, and employees are encouraged to build long-term careers here. Management trusts people, avoids micromanagement, and promotes a healthy work-life balance while still challenging teams to do meaningful, high-impact work.

Like any growing global company, there are always areas for improvement, especially in scaling processes, communication, and alignment across teams as the organization evolves. Sometimes priorities shift quickly, which can create challenges, but the upside is that people are open to feedback and willing to improve. Overall, the environment is constructive, and challenges are usually addressed collaboratively rather than with blame.

There are a few good people there, but most have left. Sales kickoffs are over seas. Work from home.

Toxic and micromanaging. Unexperienced managers and directors that don't listen to their employees. Reject feedback from field, and customer. Do it this way and only this way approach. A very unstable, toxic, and unfriendly place to work. The compensation plans are heavily tilted against you. Massive turn over in 2025 in America's, and the majority of them left on their own. Only take a job here if it is to keep a paycheck until you next job. As their 401k plans are not good either.
