Pros
Smart and kind people in general. We always had nice conversations and a good laugh together. Good atmosphere, excellent salary, team events with endless drinks + yr-end corporate bonus. No need to mention it is hard work but at least paid well.
Cons
In 2 years I had 4 different managers in the Amsterdam office. Very high attrition rate, most people left the company because you need special set of skills to calmly navigate through the daily chaos and disorganization. I believe many people could not or did not want to be part of this chaos any longer. We had several leaders and managers on site, and still a total lack of leadership what describes it best. When people left, it happened many times (to me as well) that their work (due to no backup or action plans) was just simply "shifted" to their closest colleague - who also left soon.. Since the Amsterdam branch relocated to Switzerland in early 2020, quite a few non-existing processes have been created and broken ones are getting fixed - signs of leadership in finance is emerging too - I wish all success to both the "oldies" who moved from Amsterdam ;-) and to the new members as well. Keep creating order in the chaos!
