Pros

there was a good discount but theyre limited to pretty much just dogs and none of the food other than like two brands are even vet approved.

Cons

A bunch of people quit and walked out all at the same time, that should have been my sign. I was told that the "toxicity had left" so I tried to stay hopeful. It was very clear from the beginning why all of those people left. I wish I had read these reviews about it being gossipy and mean. Everyone was older than me but there is no maturity at all. Only backstabbing and favoritism but management is all in on it so there is no one to turn to. It's technically a small business but I have felt more safe and comfortable at corporate places. They didnt tell us when my coworkers got covid and just let us be exposed. Very sketchy for no reason. Also has a history with racism in the workplace, but everyone takes it as a joke.

Pros

Flexible with time off requests

Cons

Working here is highly misleading compared to the job description and interview. Though it's technically a receptionist role, expect extensive kennel cleaning and dog handling, often resembling kennel or grooming assistant duties. Safety hazards are prevalent, with no fire alarms, smoke detectors, or emergency plans in place. Racism is tolerated and even encouraged, which is surprising given the presence of diverse employees. Breaks are not permitted; taking multiple bathroom breaks can lead to disciplinary action for "wasting time." Favoritism is rampant, with certain employees getting away with anything, while management dismisses concerns and talks down to those who speak up. Main groomers are disrespectful, frequently projecting their emotions and yelling at dogs, despite knowing dogs can't understand them. Micromanagement is extreme, with constant surveillance through cameras. There is no incentive to perform well, only belittlement for not meeting exacting standards. Health concerns, especially for immunocompromised individuals, are disregarded. If you have other options, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
