With regard to religion, I purposefully “make no bones” about the fact that I am a Christian during the interview process. I try and run my business based on biblical principles. It is how I see myself, the work that is done at Allevia, and every single individual that comes into contact with this business. The desire of my heart is for people that work at Allevia to love the work that they do, they love the people they work with, and they love each other. You absolutely do not have be of ANY faith to do those 3 things.
Allevia is very much a dynamic and collaborative culture; supervisors and team leads are “in the trenches” with their teams. They are active, engaged, and involved with the day-to-day operations and delivery of service that we provide.
I have received feedback from current employees (who really like their job) that we do seem like a cult at first because we’re incredibly focused on caring for one another. This is not a place where you can come in and just get work done and leave – we seek to learn and invest in one another and be there for each other when “life happens” outside of work.
There are 3 employees (currently out of 28) that attend the same church. I personally don’t quantify that as “most”, but some might.
