Pros
Some outstanding professionals, some simply collecting a pay check. Some genuinely talented individuals who work hard, are enthusiastic, highly gifted, business savvy, innovative and without them the place would be nothing. Large number of people on the other hand would struggle to find employment elsewhere- that’s why they’ve been there so long. Need some fresh blood, forward thinking, cut out the dead wood, freshen the office up both personnel wise and furniture wise because the place is seriously dated. A few new systems and digital innovation on the horizon which is great.
Cons
HR are useless. Genuinely. Salaries are shockingly low in comparison to competitors. Really have to dig around and shout that you want to do training and evolve and have a career plan- unless you put yourself forward and bang the door down it’s not going to happen. HR as passive as they come.
