Small internal team culture is great and middle management will have your back. Long grace period for mistakes and learning, however you will not be trained on how to effectively perform your role, have to learn through trial and error.

Upper management changes company direction like a pendulum. Lot of research is conducted just for the sake of producing research, not providing tangible value for readers. As a smaller firm, analysts are required to wear many hats, many of which don't fit
