Convenient locations and weekly pay, but management and post culture need work - Flex Officer Allied Universal Employee Review

Pros

Pros: Reliable weekly pay and decent rates. Uniforms are provided by the company, and the majority of coworkers and building staff were nice and trouble-free.

Cons

Management & Scheduling: Very poor. Having a drivers license means they will overextend you and send you everywhere. Work Environment: Some assignments are less than ideal. There is a lack of professionalism at certain posts (inappropriate boundaries/views). Safety/Culture for Women: It can be tough to be taken seriously. Because you are required to stay at your post, you can feel trapped when dealing with overly forward or unprofessional individuals.

Pros

Some of the people you meet are cool and you make real good connections with the professional guards (not a lot, but i got lucky)

Cons

*Management doesn't answer their phones *Management don't want to help you address the issues onsite unless the manager of that site has an issue. *Rude and non responsive office. *Operations managers and client managers are useless. (Their assistants do a better job than they do) *The guards are not the priority to management and the company. Very childish and hostile environment. *A lack of structure, communication and support.
