Pros
Very good pay, benefits and continuing education stipend. Opportunity to see as many patients as you like and pay after the first year is based on number of patients you see. Low-level leadership is fantastic. they are responsive and they care about their employees. They make us feel appreciated and heard.
Cons
Senior leadership is awful. Senior leadership see patients as income streams and just want providers to see as many patients as possible, regardless of whether the patient's needs match the provider's training and experience or not. Senior leadership has created policies that make it very difficult to move a patient if they are not a match for the provider's training and experience or move a patient to a higher level of service even if an outpatient provider cannot meet the needs of the patient. A lot of low-level managers are getting burned out and leaving, Several have left in the past year. Nearly all of the support staff have left in the past year.
