Pros
I became very proactive in my role. I obtained a lot of contacts and attended trade shows + travel to companies. I developed my own understanding of manufacturing distribution.
Cons
I did not trust management. My bonus pay and commission never came through. There was a low base pay and no training. I literally read books on B2B retail selling in order to learn. Due to lack of a raise and inability to trust my managers I moved on.
