Pros
It's a really good company as a whole. Concept is great and members love it, especially when you have good trainers and ideal clientele. Flexible schedule. Can make your own schedule, to a certain extent. Good benefits and PTO.
Cons
As with all franchises, it depends on the owner. Very demanding schedule, was expected to be available from 6am-8pm daily, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. If you want a life outside of work, this is probably not the place for you. You will be working on average 50-60 hours per week, a long with working whenever someone calls in sick or takes time off, no matter the time of day. You are at the mercy of the clients and prospects 24/7. Membership is almost $500 per month, and when members want to cancel or hold it's your fault, no matter their reason. High stress environment. Overwhelming pressure to make sales and retain members. Being watched and listened to on camera at all times. Micromanagement. It is an environment of "never good enough". Any success that you had in the past will be forgotten about quickly. Communication with ownership is 24/7 with no boundaries. Expected to work and take sales calls and client communication from personal cell phone with no reimbursement for phone bill or equipment.
