Impossible to take a planned day off, if you do they basically retaliate by throwing more work in your queue when you are not there. No sick time. NYS based companies are supposed to have sick time when there are 5 or more employees. They probably get around this though by hiring employees who live in the Philippines. Health insurance is expensive & not much coverage.
