Pros

Nothing. Just that I’ve kept up with a previous colleague and we wanted to post our reviews and save the time for any potential and future talent- to make sure it isn’t wasted and so they can apply it to a company they could have success and happiness with.

Cons

Everything. It’s got the rating it has for a reason. Read the reviews. You will be underpaid, treated like rubbish, and coming to work miserable, daily. They tell you there is work life balance but just like everything else they said, it was a lie.

Pros

I really enjoy working with the team and feel excited and passionate about the company's product and vision. With a global team, I often shift my work around to accommodate odd hours for meetings, but the flexibility and trust make maintaining a good work-life balance possible.

Cons

Working remotely with a global team has its challenges (scheduling, time delays on day-to-day collaboration, can feel isolated, infrequent travel to get together with the team in person).

Pros

There is really nothing good about this company. There was nothing good about working there and really nothing good about paying for their product. I ended my employment in late 2021 and I meant to leave a review shortly after I left-but my new position was like going from night to day & I had already wasted enough time in my life with that company. It wasn't until I saw the last few reviews that I thought I would add my two cents.

Cons

Professional services is a joke besides one specific employee. Not even sure if this specific person is still employed with Alterian-most likely, yes because he was close to retirement. Upper management treats everyone like crap and they all think they are better than everyone else regardless of being older than them, having more experience in this industry, and with a history of working at far more successful businesses than Alterian will ever be. I didn't lose my job, I quit. The support team is something I am agreeable with the last review on Glassdoor. They have no real leadership and they need new and younger guidance. I wasn't apart of the support team, but I recognized several challenges they were met with-because our department had to deal with their shortcomings. & being that they are the face of the company, the leadership and training offered to them from their manager was extremely insufficient and most times it wasn't their fault. Everyone at the company was underpaid and they still likely are. There is no room for growth what so ever. If anyone is reading this from the UK, you can find better. & if you're from the US, you should know better.
