Pros

There are great opportunities for professional growth, but it's very fast-paced, which allows us to make a real impact, and leadership is refreshingly open to feedback while actively questioning the status quo. There is a strong get-things-done culture, which really pushes people outside of their comfort zone and this might not be for everyone, which is okay. There's a lot of opportunity to shape the company culture and product as we grow, and management seems to genuinely care. It's a good balance with the unlimited PTO policy and the possibility to take ownership of the time off. Now, for me, the people are the major pro here, everyone is talented and brings lots of energy to make things work, and to build the best product possible. People are not only engaged with their own growth, but take time to celebrate yours as well.

Cons

In such a fast-paced environment, collaboration between teams could be better, but it's part of growing pains. It also brings frequent changes that can be overwhelming sometimes, which again may not be for everyone. Processes and structure are still being developed, and sometimes you need to wear multiple hats (the good thing is that you learn a lot from it!).

Alternative Payment moves fast — in a good way. You’re given real ownership early, and there’s a ton of room to learn if you take initiative. The team’s super supportive, leadership’s transparent, and everyone’s pulling in the same direction. It’s the kind of place where you get out what you put in.

Hard work and results are recognized quickly, and career growth feels entirely merit-based. The team is very innovative. The team constantly challenges assumptions, iterates fast, and celebrates creativity. The environment is demanding, but in the best way: you’re surrounded by smart people who push you to think bigger and move faster. Some other thoughts: - Compensation is very good for a start-up - Leadership is transparent with business performance and results - Strong performers are promoted quickly and given increased responsibility

Cons

Fast pace can be intense. Things move quickly, and priorities can shift overnight. It’s exciting, but not for everyone. Processes are still evolving, so you have to be comfortable building as you go. Like any scaling start-up, some systems and workflows are still catching up with growth.
