Pros

Colleagues were fantastic and the role offered the opportunity to work with a diverse client range. Unfortunately, these positives were easily outweighed by almost everything else.

Cons

This company puts profit before people in every aspect. Staff turnover is massive and I've heard it been given the nickname of being an "entry level mill" - they take mostly entry level professionals, exploit them with huge workloads and poor pay, then they either burn out and leave or jump ship the minute they're no longer considered 'entry level' and can get a job anywhere else. Caseloads and KPIS are ridiculous and you're given no time during your work day or week to complete the administrative responsibilities of your role. Minimal support from supervisors and management, with many of the managers essentially still being entry level professionals themselves. The way that the company operates does not meet the standards of an "ethical workplace" as per Australian psychology membership body guidelines. They do not listen to employees when they share concerns. They expect employees to work beyond their scope which directly goes against AHPRA's ethical requirements. The individual employees are consistently blamed for errors made by management or due to poor (or no) organisational processes. All of this for a salary you can barely survive on - casual retail wages are better and don't require a minimum 4-6 years at university.

Pros

Nice management and no point system

Cons

If you don't want to be homeless like I have almost been 2 times because it's impossible to make a living as a single person here. They know it too. HR is useless every fast food place around starts higher then this place. Raises every year are laughable because they are literally cents...btw it only the cost of living increase. While the upper management make all the money the hard workers in the hot no air conditioner in the the warehouse that keep this place afloat make peanuts....tell me could you live on 400 a week that's 40 hours.

Pros

The main benefit to working here is gaining experience and training as a provisional psychologist. Colleagues are supportive and friendly and you will bond over the absurdity of the unrealistic role demands. There is a lot of diversity in the workplace but you would expect that of a company that appears to struggle to retain staff.

Cons

Employees are overworked and underpaid, with minimal administrative support and unrealistic KPIs. Staff are also pressured to work outside their scope of practice without necessary training or skillsets. Employees who raise legitimate concerns about business practices are dismissed as having poor work ethic or time management skills despite it being common knowledge that the workload is unsustainable. Even when management requests direct feedback, nothing translates into change. The business is built on the concept of promoting mental wellbeing and yet struggles to create a psychologically safe or supportive environment for its own employees.
