Great company with its issues - Territory Manager Altivera Medical Employee Review

Pros

-Great growth opportunities - Great pay/bonus structure - Awesome teams and managers Zynex Medical seems to be a very good place for a good-to-great sales person to start their career or to continue it. Coming from a DME background prior to this I have found this company to be a great one for figuring out how to manage your own territory for sales. *FOR NEW HIRES* you MUST know how to manage yourself. There are no offices you check in at, there are no daily meetings, there are only results.

Cons

- Growing pains - Change - Insurance coverage - Monthly resupplies With a lot of the companies continued success, there have been many growing pains that are clear and evident. One of which has been the change in positions, titles, management and pay plans (moving the goal posts for your bonus's/raises, even though your contract specifies otherwise). The company accepts all insurances, but the odds of a patient actually being covered are slim. The company also sets patients up with a monthly resupply order. I am sure we obtain patient approval before doing this (when the patient thinks their insurance may still cover it), but I have yet to meet a cash pay patient who is happy about these expensive resupplies. One last thing, the companies (seemingly) obsession with the CEO and his interests feels... forced and creepy

Pros

Have significantly turned things around within less than a year allowing insurances companies to trust us again. It was a big task and it was successful. Congrats!

Cons

The company hasn't ironed out their new processes which is okay, the company is starting over. Although, it is to a point where I constantly get angry calls from clinics where they tell us that Altivera/Zynex is awful and has awful customer service. From what I have gathered, it has nothing to do with the people that work there but it does have everything to do with the CONSTANT change in process. Every clinic is confused why we aren't doing it "the old way" (communicating with clinics about what is needed). Now when we receive invalid prescriptions we don't even communicate that with the patient OR the clinic anymore. Nothing against the Sales Reps, they are awesome. Having the Sales Reps do everything seems impractical and it has effected Altivera's efficiency and likely customer and clinic's satisfaction. Altivera Medical just got rid of the department that speaks with clinics, our sales operations team. I am not excited to see how much our customer service and clinic communication worsens, now.
