Pros

I guess it's suppose to be flexible work? But the sheer lack of time blocks means you don't have much of a choice.

Cons

Delivery blocks are offered to all drivers in the area at the same time, they get snapped up before you can even check out the job, so if you're even lucky enough to get a block you don't have time to even check which time it's starts. The email support is an absolute and utter joke. It's almost like you're talking to a group of 5 year olds, several times I have been in conversation with someone through email and they will tell me to "reply to confirm" and then someone else will reply, oblivious to the past emails and you have to start all over again because they're too lazy to read the log. Often they will just end up ignoring you completley. I have moved house and I have been trying to change my location for 2 months now to no avail because I have to confirm several times via email and every time I do so someone new answers the email oblivious to what we are talking about. The first time I joined I waited for months for my background check which never got completed, again I tried to contact support explaining and they just told me I can't apply ever again because of a mistake on their end, so I ended up having to make a whole new amazon account. This is just some of the issues, I could write for days. My experience at Amazon flex has been absolutely awful and I do not recommend to anyone.

Pros

Lots of routes available to drive using your own vehicle, both in early morning and in the evenings. Get paid the same day that you drive. Routes are usually pretty tight so you're not doing a lot of long distances between stops.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of miles you'll have to drive. You may average about 20-25 an hour, depending on how long of a block you sign up for. But you'll end up spending at least 1.5 hours pay to put back into your gas tank. You can't choose the area you want to drive in, it's chosen randomly for you. So you could be clear across five counties from the starting point.
