Pros

- A relaxed brand that lets you be casual with customer without damaging its reputation - Discounts on product are great for employees - Customer base is great and doesn’t have to many nightmarish people to deal with.

Cons

- Unrealistic workload - Pay doesn’t even come close to justifying the amount of work that is laid on your shoulders - HR team barely helps when things go wrong between workers - The company itself attracts a lot of younger workers, making the workplace and intensely toxic and dangerous place to be. - Their stocking routine is way to high volume for a store that sees a large amount of footfall. I.e you’re either to busy with stock to focus on sales or to busy with customers to even touch stock. There’s no true balance as it just gets dumped on you in the bucketloads. They also don’t restock product based on what is selling your specific store, they just send you whatever and then leave you to deal with the mess. - They never repair anything in store. I had a total of 14 broken lights on the store floor making some parts of my store incredibly dark. One of my tills was down and it took them 4 weeks and countless emails to send someone to fix it during the Christmas summer rush. - The New Zealand side of Amazon is neglected heavily by boardriders Inc. so we’re basically the long lost children of the company that never get any support.
