Make decent money, especially with transfers.
All basic EMTs are part time and you get to bid for shifts, therefore you can control the days you have off.
Taking transfers off shift can get you anywhere from $20-$50 an hour
Cons
No benefits for emt b's
There can be drama but it's possible to avoid it
Some people don't like the long shifts or taking transfers on shift for shift pay.
