Commissions are 10% of the homeowners insurance claim checks. Those checks usually come in two stages first check and supplemental check. Company won’t pay you until they get the second check and the jobs complete if at all. The only reason I was able to get paid was because I took pictures and documented the jobs I closed, gave the documentation to HR, then had a lawyer serve them papers, settled for the exact amount I was owed plus legal fees. If it hadn’t been for that I’d still be fighting for back paychecks
