Pros

- Paid Federal Holidays (depending on the hours you work) - Clear promotion paths. You're never sitting around waiting and wondering when you'll make more money. - No physical activity requirements. Very safe and undemanding job.

Cons

- Unreasonable sales quotas, even for tellers. Missing your sales quota as a teller will not get you fired, but it will prevent promotion. Missing sales quotas as a loan officer will get you fired eventually. Products employees are instructed to sell feel needless and potentially predatory for people with low income and low credit scores.

America First Credit Union Response

Thank you for your feedback. At America First we do have high performance standards for our employees but do not recommend selling products to our members for the sake of simply making a sale. We also do not discriminate in our lending practices and we accept loan applications from members in all walks of life. Ultimately, at AFCU we feel our job is to educate our members on what products are available and let them decide what they want or need for their financial situation.
