Pros
Good entry level job, good benefits. Good coworkers (some of them).
Cons
Very low pay for tellers, long hours, bad management and not much support from supervisors (depends which branch you are at). Can be difficult to move up within the company and supervisors seemed disinterested in actually helping you do what you needed to do in order to move up. Employees who have been with the credit union longer are obviously treated better/favored by management. Very focused on sales/referrals even though they say they aren't. Members can be rude and leads/supervisors don't really do much to help, they really only care about the member's experience. You can't do anything in your free time even if the branch is completely empty... meanwhile, the supervisors sit on their phones all day long...
