      flexible hours, helping others and feeling like you CAN make a difference

      Cons

      Huge turnover, low pay, under appreciated, and very disposable. Was very highly rated, if not the highest instructor in the area, but was let go when Covid gave the ARC a reason to reorganize. Kept a few Instructors they could bully and let most go.

      Pros

      My experience working with the Red Cross has been great. The work is fulfilling and the people are passionate. Benefits are good - Kaiser is $6 a month!

      Cons

      There is work life balance, but there is an expectation to work nights and weekends.
