Pros

None really other than there is potential to make good money if the directors like you and you get in a good queue.

Cons

Where do we start? First off I'd be willing to bet any good reviews on here are from a select few people in good queues who get easy sales and have an opportunity to make good money. That's not the case for most people. You can tell how bad it is just by the fact that they are constantly hiring classes of new hires because people quit all the time its like a revolving door. They will listen to you through your headset even when you're not on calls. You get in trouble for taking time off even if you have sick or pto time available. They pressure you to take short lunches and breaks and to work weekends, so forget about work life balance. Their whole sales marketing is illegal bait and switch. The leads are trash even though they will tell you none of the queues are bad and the leads are good, its not true. If you arent in one of the good queues its hard to make any money with the base pay being minimum wage. They only match 1% of your retirement, yeah a "financial firm" barely matches your 401k make that make sense. The health insurance is trash. They will tell you all these amazing things throughout training and show you how some people make a lot of money, its all lies and false promises. Oh and don't let me forget they will fire you without any warning, write ups or anything. This is by far the most shady, and slimy company ive ever worked for. My Advice, don't waste your time with this company, youll regret it if you do.

We're glad to hear you had a positive experience at Americor and appreciate your kind words about our culture and training program. We invest significant time and effort into creating a training experience that helps new team members feel confident and prepared, so it's great to hear that it was valuable to you. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the remote work environment. While remote work provides flexibility, we recognize that it can sometimes feel less connected than an in-office setting. We continue to look for ways to strengthen communication, collaboration, coaching, and engagement so employees feel supported regardless of where they work. We wish you continued success and appreciate the time you spent with us. The Americor Team

Pros

Low barrier to entry, if you can talk to people, you can do this job. You'll get a ton of reps with real clients in real financial situations, and the commission upside is legitimate. Strong months can clear $20K+

Cons

The hours are long and the emotional weight is constant, your clients are in crisis by definition, so you're absorbing that stress daily. Management just adds to that stress. The fees are steep, and it's on you to get clients to accept them. The hard truth is it's usually their only viable option, but that doesn't make the conversation easy.
